Insulated cylindrical roller bearing mean the same design with normal standard cylindrical roller bearing with coated insulated materials on the inner ring or outer ring. The cylindrical roller and raceway of the cylindrical roller bearing are linear contact bearings. Load capacity, mainly bear radial load. The friction between the rolling element and the retaining edge of the ring is small, which is suitable for high-speed rotation. The inner and outer rings of cylindrical roller bearings can be separated. According to whether the rings have ribs or not, they can be divided into single row cylindrical roller bearings such as NU, NJ, NUP, N, NF, and double row cylindrical roller bearings such as NNU and NN series.
Cylindrical roller insulated bearings are designed to prevent current from passing through the bearing. On the outer surface of the inner ring of the bearing or the outer surface of the outer ring, a layer of aluminum oxide coating with insulating properties is sprayed through a complex plasma spraying process, which can avoid the electric corrosion effect of the induced current on the bearing and prevent the current from affecting the grease and grease. Damage caused by rolling elements and raceways can increase the service life of the bearing. The external dimensions and basic technical characteristics of cylindrical roller insulated bearings are the same as ordinary cylindrical roller bearings, so they can be interchanged each other.

Compared with ordinary insulated bearings, cylindrical roller insulated bearings have good electrical corrosion resistance. By integrating insulation properties into the bearings, insulated bearings can improve reliability by eliminating electrical corrosion problems and extend the uptime of equipment. Cylindrical roller insulated bearings adopt a unique sealing process to encapsulate the bearings, which can be protected from humidity and moisture during use. The aluminum oxide coating on the surface has a minimum resistance of 200MΩ and can withstand a voltage of up to 3000V DC.
