Schaeffler acquires BEGA International B.V.
On August 4, 2021, Schaeffler announced the acquisition of BEGA International B.V., a leading manufacturer of special tools for mounting and dismounting rolling bearings.
This acquisition is another important move for Schaeffler to continuously expand its bearing service product portfolio throughout its life cycle.
Connecting BEGA’s intelligent maintenance tools to the industrial IoT platform dedicated to the Schaeffler OPTIME condition monitoring system can open up new application potential.
Customers will also benefit from this acquisition. All customer service-related applications will adopt a unified interface, which improves the user experience throughout the bearing life cycle, including bearing installation to monitoring, maintenance and repair.
In addition, customers and partners can not only obtain one-stop bearing maintenance and monitoring solutions and services, but also obtain various repair and maintenance solutions more conveniently.
